Southern California poker players will have more opportunities to win extra cash at Pala Casino Spa and Resort in August when the Poker Room will host its Pala Super Deep Stack tournaments at 1 p.m. each Saturday and the Friday Night $2K at 7:15 p.m. Pala Poker also will introduce a new promotion, Hourly $100 High Hand Insurance and will continue its Cash Wheel Drawing, Progressive High Hands, Saturday and Sunday High Hand Frenzy and Chase for the Dough promotions.

The Friday Night $2K will start at its regular 7:15 p.m. time. The buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $2,000 guarantee. Chips will be $4,000/$2,000 with a $5 optional staff buy and a $20 add-on for $10,000 chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed to four levels with a full stack.
The new Hourly $100 High Hand Insurance promotion will be in play from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each Monday. If a player’s high hand gets beat, that player will receive $50. The Saturday and Sunday High Hand Frenzy promotion will be in play from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday and the high hand every half hour will receive $100. The Progressive High Hand will be in play from 12:01 a.m. each Monday through 4 p.m. each Friday, except 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays and during the Buried Treasure Grand Prize Drawing on Wednesday, 25 July. All Quads, Straight Flushes and Royals will be paid. Cash Wheel drawings will be held each Tuesday and Thursday. Players earn tickets to spin the wheel and win cash.
